|Jakeman's Bean Salad|
½ cup of Jakeman’s Maple Syrup (Canada #1 Medium)
½ cup of Vegetable Oil
½ cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tsp. Salt
2 cups of Yellow and Green Beans (can-drained or frozen)
1 can of Red Kidney Beans (drained)
½ cup of sliced red or white onion
Combine maple syrup, oil, vinegar and salt in a 2 cup measure. Microwave at high for approximately 2 minutes, or until hot.
Combine the beans and onion in a large bowl. Pour the dressing over the beans, toss to coat the beans thoroughly.
Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours before serving in order to blend flavours.
